“Magical place”
“ | The best holiday we have been on! Stunning spot, near many walks and waterfalls. Plenty of hikes and magnificent views. Toilets and showers were warm and super clean. We stayed in a tiny cabin that was clean, had everything we needed and an unlimited amount of wood. So peaceful at night to sit under the stars in front of the fire. You will not want to come home! Magical place. | ” |

“lovely cabin with breath-taking views”
“ | This is a lovely cabin with breath-taking views. The fire kept us lovely and warm in winter and we even managed to sit round the fire at night. Lucky enough to get a full moon and the added frost lit the place up at night. Just what is needed during these times. Risk free stay but a break from reality! | ” |

“it is everything you hope for and more”
“ |
This is a truly unique site, it is everything you hope for and more, it has a genuine wild feel yet the amenities are better than you would find on most other sites. The site is situated in perfect distance to some of the most dramatic landscapes in the Lake District but you don’t even need to leave the site to enjoy incredible natural adventures such as the surrounding woodland and the waterfalls that pass through. |

“ | We had a lovely cozy time in cabin 1 in the grounds of rydal Hall. The cabin has everything you could need and its very nice to light the fire when you come in all wet from a soggy walk in the rain! A very peaceful spot with lots of walks right on your doorstep.. would happily return! | ” |

“The huts are beautiful”
“ | Me and my friends have a yearly trip this time at Rydall Hall campsite a the new Finnish huts. We were the first guests. The huts are beautiful with open high views to Rydal water with church steeple felt very special. You wake up to peace and quiet, comfy bed, wood burning stove, fire pit, stove for cooking outdoor comfort at its best. Straight from the campsite beautiful walking, waterfalls walk with fresh pool for swimming, Rydal and Grasmere water and Loughrigg tarn. Local tearoom and pub. We had the weather and didn't want to leave. Were well looked after by Ben. There is a walk to the Loos and washing up area down a slope but it is doable. | ” |

“our stay was first class”
“ | We arrived late on Friday evening to a clean and comfortable Yurt (No11). Micky had been extremely helpful guiding us to the site and our stay was first class. The whole Family and Hector the dog had a great time. First class facilities on hand with a much welcomed hot shower to start the day before heading out on one of the many 10 miler walks. Despite wind and rain the Yurt was a safe haven with a roaring log burning stove in the middle to keep us warm. The setting is magical and at this time of year is even more spectacular. We are already thinking of returning next year. Thank you to Ben and Micky. | ” |

“The yurt felt like coming home”
“ | What is life if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare…’ I could sit here all day just looking at the lake & fells changing with the light & ‘staring’ at the sheep. Did tear ourselves away for some fabulous walks. The yurt felt like ‘coming home’. I love it. | ” |

“a stunning location and great accommodation”
“ | Rachel’s Hen Do! Thanks for a lovely stay – it’s a stunning location and great accommodation, camping with a real sense of luxury, character and charm! The yurts are really well thought out and had everything we needed. We couldn’t believe how warm they were – the stoves are amazing. Thanks also for the top tips about the pub with the badgers – we did manage to see them… and the waterfalls were beautiful. Also thanks for the wine. We ate, drank and were merry! Best wishes. | ” |

“The yurts are inspiring and very homely”
“ | What an amazing place! We’ve really had a wonderful time, and the weather’s helped too – snow on the hills and us too –when we arrived, sun, wind and then lots of rain to see us on our way. The yurts are inspiring and very homely; now we’re wondering what it’s like here in every season…? Congratulations on getting three yurts up and running, and thank you for making them so special (even the book selection is magical). | ” |

“What an amazing setting for a yurt holiday”
“ | What an amazing setting for a yurt holiday. The view is amazing & we loved the sheep, stream, river and the 1000year old tree. The children particularly enjoyed the playground and it was great to feel so relaxed about safety and to let them run around freely. I’ve longed to experience life in a yurt since watching ‘The Story of the Weeping Camel’ and it has been great fun. We’d be very happy to live in a yurt permanently. Sarah & Ben you have created our holiday ideal… ingenious! Thank you for the warm welcome. | ” |

“I had not a care in the world”
“ | I had always wanted the experience of staying in a Yurt and now I have. I loved how comfortable it was and how simple the place was to keep. Domestically, everything I could need was there for me to use, I had not a care in the world except to watch the fire and relax. I was also very impressed with the location and its wildlife, defiantly a lake land treasure and one I will return to - many thanks. | ” |
